Super Bowl giveaway

I’m going to do a prize giveaway for folks who are nice enough to sign up for a HealthyWager with my affiliate link this week. They are adding $100 to everyone’s prize if they sign up with an ambassador or an affiliate link.

I’ll do a form of Super Bowl Squares. I’ll put $20 in for everyone who signs up and gets ahold of me and wants in. I’ll randomly divide the squares up amongst the players.

This is the way I’ll do it:

• I’ll divide the number of players into 100 and drop the remainder, and that’s how many squares each player gets.
• I’ll randomly assign those squares to each player. The remainder (if any) will be blank.
• At the end of each quarter, one square will be selected according to the score in the usual manner (intersection of column for KC last digit and row for SF last digit). The payouts will be as follows
  • The owner of that square gets 5% of the pot.
  • The owner of each square touching that square via edge or corner gets 2.5% of the pot. There are 8 of these. If the score-selected square happens to be on an edge of the grid (or corner), we wrap around to the other side of the grid to find the touching square(s).
  • If a payout square is blank, that money is held until the end of the game, and the sum of any such blank payouts is given randomly to a player who did not have a payout square in the game.

That way we have a lot of winners and it will be more fun.
