I never thought that an outcome of my weight loss journey would be that I would author an app to aid in monetizing weight loss. But it happened.
I think a few people have benefited from it over the last few months. It’s not much, but certainly the net result is better than the what it is for the smartphone app that the Democratic Party in Iowa used to help count their caucus votes and report them out promptly.
There will be a few winners from that catastrophe, no doubt—but a whole lot more losers. It’s possible that Iowa will no longer get to be the first state to choose the nominees for either party in presidential elections to come.
I don’t know who’s gonna be the Democratic nominee at this point. I don’t know if you know—or if you even care.
Maybe you like Trump. Maybe you like anybody or anything that can beat Trump. Maybe you’d want third-party candidate, or nobody at all. Maybe you’d just wish to stay home with your loved ones on Election Day.
But no matter who the Democratic nominee is, if you have some extra weight to lose, you can improve your health significantly by the time that person is chosen Democratic convention rolls around in July.
And before the general election debates begin, you can have the winnings from a 6-month HealthyWager in your pocket. If you go 7 or 8 months, you’ll have that money before Election Day in November.
If you download my HWSim app, you can figure out how much money you can make, very accurately, before even visiting Healthy Wage.
It isn’t accurate to the penny, but it is much closer to the truth than whatever the hell comes out of Iowa this month for the Ds. Probably more accurate than this cycle’s general election count will be, things being as they are.
And it is free from Russian hacking. (To the best of my knowledge, anyway. Like they’d even care about lil’ ol’ me and Healthy Wage. I don’t want to flatter myself.)
There’s a link inside for a $40 increase in your prize, should you care to use it. (You should—unless you got a friend or loved one doing Healthy Wage, in which case you use their referral link.)
In any event, Healthy Wage or not, excess weight or not, if you watch a lot of cable news—particularly political news—your health will significantly improve if you quit doing that and go for a walk instead. Or lift weights. Or sleep. Both physical and mental health—but especially mental health.
Check this out. From back when things were saner in Iowa. At least with no clear winner this time, we likely won’t get something equally craptacular. (But probably we will.)
