Happy Maundy Thursday everyone! (Or Thursday for those who aren’t Catholic!)
This is a really shitty week, needless to say. So much FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt) in the world right now, because of the bugs that are roaming around out there. Hopefully you are weathering it the best you can.
For me, I am trying my best to maintain my weight loss, but this last 10 days or so has been difficult. I have been eating more than I have in the past, and I am afraid to step on the scale. I think I am going to have to buy into another Healthy Wage Jackpot (I’m on a 6 month HeathlyWager that ain’t looking good right now).
Healthy Wage is still in business during this mess. Most everything is done over the Internet with them, so it doesn’t surprise me that they would be robust to the current adverse conditions.
I am an ambassador for the company. I promote them on their social media feeds, and I share links to the HWSim app on those pages. I make a little side money from commissions for new sign-ups. But lately—since the Covid mess started—it has dried up.
I understand that lots of people are out of work because of the Covid mess, and those who still have jobs are wondering if they will in a month or two. Of course, nobody can predict when this crap will end, and how it will end. It’s horrible.
So they may be wary of putting their money into Healthy Wage, because they think they may need to save it for later in case their money stream dries up. It’s totally understandable.
On the other hand, due to the way we are seeing this bug prey on people with health problems more than others, anyone who is overweight really ought to work to correct that situation right now. It will take months for a vaccine to arrive, if it does at all. Even if we subdue it this spring and summer, it may come back with a vengeance in the fall and winter. It is best to be in as good a shape as possible from a health standpoint in 6 months’ time.
So right now, the company has a hell of a promotion going on. Their ordinary friend-and-family prize boost of $40 has been increased to $100 this week—anyone starting a new HealthyWager will get $100 added to their prize when they win. The friend or family member who referred them get $100 as well (either $100 on their own HealthyWager prize, or $100 in cash if they have completed a HealthyWager previously).
In my ambassador/affiliate role, if you sign up with my link, you’ll get the $100 prize boost and I get a $100 commission. You can then refer someone you know for their own HelathyWager, and both of you get a $100 boost if you do it by Monday, April 13.
If you are strapped for cash, or worried about whether you will be able to afford this, you should know that you can play for as little as $102. If you do a 6-month wager to lose 10% or more of your bodyweight, that’s $17 per month for 6 months.
If you can budget this, and win the wager, the LEAST you will be paid at the end is $213. That’s 11% profit from the calculator, plus the $100 prize boost. But for most people, that prize value will be much, much more. If you are very overweight obese, a 10% loss could result in tripling your $102 investment.
To see how much money you can make, go here. That’s my homemade smartphone app to calculate this stuff. I reverse-engineered the HealthyWage calculator. You can get pretty damn close to what they will actually offer you if you use this tool first.
The worst things that can happen are (a) you don’t lose the weight or (b) Healthy Wage goes bankrupt and won’t pay winners. Both suck, no doubt about that. But think about it: what sucks more than government edicts and a crazy disease roaming around with no cure? It’s $17 a month! Take a chance! Have some fun! What else are you gonna do?
Even if you don’t join Healthy Wage, please try to maintain healthy weight or lose excess weight this year if you can. It’s really important that you do that. We need you.
I’ll let y’all know which Jackpot challenge I join.
Happy Easter!
