I’m back!

Fallen off the wagon for a long time.

I have gained all my weight back from when I first started.

But I have had 6 days in a row now where I didn’t eat snacks after dinner before going to bed. So I am on a roll.

Starting weight 290 (tonight)

Goal weight 200

Last time I was 200 was when the fucking pandemic started.

I actually tried doing healthy wage and dietbet over the last 22 months and gave them money.

Some of it was StepBet money last winter. I went outside for a break from WFH and slipped on some ice and broke my foot. I didn’t get out of the plastic boot until mid-spring.

I didn’t do another bet this time. It’s not going to motivate me, to be honest. The backache and headache and fatigue and clothes not fitting right is what is gonna motivate me this time.

Also what will motivate me is to win against the Covid insanity finally. I obviously did not deal with the pandemic very well with respect to my weight and health—although I recovered from a mild case of Covid this spring.

My goal is to get to 200 pounds by Election Day, which is November 8, 2022. Although I would like to see certain politicians get voted out for poor behavior during Covid, I won’t feel nearly as bad if they win and I lose most of that weight.

It’s about 0.85% a week, which is aggressive but I think I can make it!

I’ll chronicle my exploits here and on GETTR. I joined a few days ago as part of the Joe Rogan wave.
